In contrast, in cases without dementia, mean stay has remained stable passing from 13.63 to 13.26. b Over the period examined, geometric mean costs per case in the group with dementia have risen significantly from 6305€ in 2000 to 11,384€ in 2013 and in cases without dementia from 7485€ to 15,583€ (both p < 0.001)
