Myocardial contrast perfusion echocardiography (MCPE): quantitative analysis. Echo contrast microbubbles are small enough to pass through the microcirculation, and this feature can be used to estimate myocardial blood flow. A region of interest (ROI) is defined in a myocardial segment and the signal intensity at the plateau and the rate of change at each end-diastolic frame are analysed to estimate myocardial blood flow
