Plasma hemopexin concentrations in mouse endotoxemia model. C57BL/6 mice were injected intravenously with (A) hemoglobin (Hb) 4 mg/mouse (n = 6), or (B) lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (2 mg/kg) (n = 8) or (C) both (n = 8) via tail vein. Mouse hemopexin (mHx) concentrations were measured 24 h before or 1 h, 4 h, or 24 h after the intravenous injection. Data are analyzed by repeated measures one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).
