Association of the rs1800625 with LPS-induced expression of RAGE protein. The whole blood samples were collected from 42 healthy volunteers (TT: Nā€‰=ā€‰32, TC: Nā€‰=ā€‰8, CC: Nā€‰=ā€‰2). The RAGE expression on the peripheral leukocytes was assayed using flow cytometry and was presented as MFI. One-way ANOVA was used to assess statistical significance. Pā€‰=ā€‰0.009 for dominant association (CCā€‰+ā€‰TC vs. TT). ANOVA, analysis of variance; LPS lipopolysaccharide; RAGE, the receptor for advanced glycation end products.
