  1. SDD, selective decontamination of the digestive tract; SOD, selective oropharyngeal decontamination.
  2. + applied four times a day.
  3. † Oral paste consists of polymyxin, tobramycin, amphotericin B and is applied in the oropharynx.
  4. ¥ Suspension consists of polymyxin, tobramycin, amphotericin B and is applied in the gastrointestinal tract through a feeding tube.
  5. *Cefotaxim applied intravenous during first four days.
