There appears to be enough doubt cast on the efficacy, cost effectiveness and safety of this drug. Yet it continues to be part of the sepsis care bundle and endorsed by NICE here in the UK. Is there any attempt to change this? I have to say I am even more reluctant to use this drug now. (I have always been uncomfortable with the shameless marketing tactics that were employed)

I can always find a reason not to use it if I look hard enough. But would I be considered failing standard of care? negligent?
