Flow cytometric analysis of the frequency of CD38+ and Tim-3+ T cells. Peripheral whole blood was collected from 18 patients and 12 healthy controls (HC). Blood samples were stained with the fluorescent antibodies anti-CD3, anti-CD4/CD8 and anti-CD38 or anti-Tim-3 and were measured for the percentages of CD38+ and Tim-3+ T cells. Data are presented as flowcharts and expressed as the means of individual participants. The Mann–Whitney U test was used to analyze the differences between groups. (A) Representative flowcharts.
