Mean urinary nitrogen balance over 14 days. The three treatment groups went into negative nitrogen balance after initial treatment (SA >SH = BA = BH, P <0.001), but a steady increase was observed over time. Significant differences were observed until Day 8 and then on the final day after treatment (SA >SH, P <0.001).
