Correlations among the extravascular lung water index, pulmonary vascular permeability index measured using transpulmonary thermodilution, and the PaO 2 /FIO 2 ratio. Negative and moderate correlations were noted between EVLWi and the PaO2/FIO2 ratio (r = -0.355, P <0.001) (A), as well as between PVPI and the PaO2/FIO2 ratio (r = -0.345, P <0.001) (B) in all data sets.
