For comparison, the findings with the conventional sepsis markers procalcitonin (PCT), interleukin 6 (IL-6), and C-reactive protein (CRP) are given. Values are given as mean and standard error of the mean as well as median and quartiles, for statistical evaluation the Mann-Whitney-test was used.
