  1. Data are bias (95% limits of agreement) from the Bland-Altman analysis of the agreement between extrapolation from 10 CT slices and analysis of all CT slices covering the entire lung. Columns present this data for subgroups of CT image series reconstructed with a certain slice thickness. CT, computed tomography; g, grams; ml, milliliters; n, number of data sets; Vgas, pulmonary gas volume; Vhyper/Mhyper, hyperaerated volume or mass; Vnomal/Mnormal, normally aerated volume or mass; Vnon/Mnon, nonaerated volume or mass; Vpoor/Mpoor, poorly aerated volume or mass; Vtotal/Mtotal, total lung volume or mass. Volumes and masses of differently aerated lung compartments were calculated as percentage of Vtotal or Mtotal, respectively.
