Vasculotide (VT) augments Tie2 signaling in vivo. Mice were pretreated with VT 200 ng intraperitoneally) or phosphate-buffered saline at 16 hours and 1 hour prior to cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) or sham surgery, respectively.
