Vasculotide (VT) augments Tie2 signaling in vivo. Mice were pretreated with VT 200 ng intraperitoneally) or phosphate-buffered saline at 16 hours and 1 hour prior to cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) or sham surgery, respectively. Kidney tissues were harvested at 18 hours after CLP or sham treatment. (A) Immunofluorescence study of phosphorylated Tie2 (pTie2, red) within glomeruli (400 ×).
