CI: cardiac index, GEDVi: global end-diastolic volume indexed for body surface, EVLWi: extravascular lung water indexed for predicted body weight. For instance, for assessing a 15% change in CI, GEDVi or EVLWi with a 95% confidence, one would have to take the mean of three measurements.
