Table 2 Thoracic distension reproduced on lung model

From: A novel capnogram analysis to guide ventilation during cardiopulmonary resuscitation: clinical and experimental observations

  1. The thoracic distension pattern was reproduced on the thoracic lung model called POUTAC. This table displays CO2 pattern depending on time constant RC (multiplication of resistance and compliance) and the set tidal volume using the classification algorithm described in the methods. Each combination of time constant and tidal volume was identified into either regular pattern (called “regular”) or thoracic distension (called “distension”)
