  1. This table shows the values of the co-secondary endpoints length of stay, mortality, and perioperative complications/morbidities between the fine filter and the control filter cohort. Length of ICU and in-hospital stay, pneumonia, and sepsis rate were significantly better for the fine filter cohort
  2. Data are presented as the median (first quartile–third quartile), as the percentage rates (with 95% confidence intervals), or as the number (n) of patients, where indicated
  3. aP values were calculated using the Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney U test for equality of means, Pearson’s chi-square test, or Fisher’s exact test, as appropriate. Mann-Whitney effect estimator (Delong method for AUC) and risk ratios are provided as appropriate and if the P value is significant
