  1. Patients were divided into cases and non-cases based on validated clinical cut-offs (HADS and PTSS-10) or by meeting criteria for objective cognitive impairment based on CANTAB scores. Objective cognitive impairment was defined as a score above − 1.5 standard deviations from the norm in three or more outcome measures or scoring above − 2.0 standard deviations from the norm in two or more outcome measures. Objective cognitive impairment (CANTAB) decreased in the cohort over time
