The IL-27 rs153109 A > G polymorphism enhanced pro-inflammatory cytokine release of the human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). The PBMCs of 50 healthy volunteers were incubated in vitro and stimulated with 500 ng/mL lipolysaccharide (LPS) for 8 h. Then the supernatant concentration of TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β in groups with different rs153109 genotypes were measured (a-f).
