  1. Multiple linear regression analysis using neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin as the dependent variable. Variables found to be statistical significant at a P value less than 0.1 in the simple model were included into the multiple linear regression analysis using stepwise backward elimination. Variables that were not normally distributed were log transformed. (β denotes standardized regression coefficient); A two-sided P value of less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant in the multiple model. * β for categorical variables is only displayed in case of multivariate significance.
