Filter survival time (FST) is expressed as median hours (interquartile range). * For all filter episodes, patients received drotrecogin alfa (activated) (DrotAA) in addition to the indicated anticoagulation during the DrotAA period. When no additional anticoagulation was administered filters were anticoagulated with DrotAA alone during DrotAA period.
