PD98059 reduced the effects of hyperoxia on stretch-induced neutrophil infiltration, macrophage inflammatory protein-2 (MIP-2) production, and microvascular leak. The mice ventilated at a tidal volume (VT) of 30 ml/kg (VT 30 ml) with and without hyperoxia were pretreated with 1 mg/kg PD98059 for 30 minutes.
