Data have been pooled from the SB CPAP 5 group (●), the MV PEEP 5 group (■), and the MV PEEP 15 group (♦) (r = 0.61; P = 0.01). Moreover, the two groups, CPAP and MV 15, were significantly different in both APP and TNF-α (P < 0.01 for both). See also text.
