Levels of IL-10 (A), sCD25 (B), IFN-γ (C), and PCT (D) in serum samples of the bacteremic (culture-positive) and non-bacteremic (culture-negative) SIRS patients at the time of hospital admission (D-1) and at the end of first week of the hospital stay (D-7). Data are presented as means ± standard error of the mean of data from either 28 bacteremic or 24 non-bacteremic patients. *P < 0.05 vs non-bacteremic patients at the same time point (Mann-Whitney test).
