Cardiac index demonstrates an AUC of 0.67 (95% CI 0.54 to 0.81, P = 0.013), whereas the ARC risk score has improved accuracy, with an AUC of 0.89 (95% CI 0.80 to 0.97, P<0.001). A diagonal reference line (AUC = 0.5) is also provided.
