Dendrogram illustrating genetic diversity among multiresistant A. baumannii strains. Molecular analysis revealed one predominant cluster (III) of A. baumannii isolates among other minor ones (I, II, V). Cluster III included study isolates A1-2-3-5-6, B2-5-7, C1-2-5-6-7, D2-3-4-5-6, E6-7-8, F1-2-4-5-6, and G1-2-4-6-7-8. Ten (62.5%) of 16 imported strains and 23 (72%) of 32 acquired strains belonged to cluster III.
