  1. *Validity of measurements meant the following: 10 measurements each (technical success rate > 60%) from two different anatomical positions and each interquartile range < 25%. From these 2 × 10 measurements, the median of both median values was obtained. If any of these requirements was not met (for example, only one probe position possible, very low success rate at a distinct position, high variance of obtained values, and so on), the liver stiffness value was not considered valid.
