Levels of APC quantified by chromogenic S2366 on MPs isolated from patients (Day 2 of rhAPC treatment) compared to separated supernatant following 30 minutes of incubation with 0, 60 and 100 nM PC. Data represent mean values from four patients assayed in duplicate. **indicates P < 0.005 statistical significance comparing MPs to corresponding supernatant.
